Second series of Betta Fish. The original (sold) was created with mix media (acrylic pouring technique and traditional oils). This series reflects my interpretation enhanced through the use of pouring and detailed out with oil paints.

The dark background creates a focal point that carries the viewer more deeply into the vivid colors of the fish. My consistent theme in all my paintings remains true; to use colors to symbolize a variety of emotions, and truths, to bring about calmness that inspires tranquility.
